In what is shaping up to be the biggest and brightest light festival ever, Lifestyle Charters is gearing up to see the Vivid Sydney lights turn back on, from Friday 24 May to Saturday 15 June 2024.
Attracting thousands of local and international visitors and Sydneysiders, Vivid Sydney is one of Sydney’s most highly anticipated winter festivals, featuring the most spectacular light shows in the world.
With so much to see from the harbour, many Sydney Harbour charter boats are hosting special private two-hour Vivid Sydney luxury harbour cruises on board its boats, where you and your favourite colleagues, friends or family can join you to enjoy the light show away from the crowds, traffic and slow walkers.
And for those with young families, we have boats perfectly suited to kids, with fewer stairs and an open plan layout that makes supervising easier. Our kids who are 3, 5 and 6 years old all love experiencing the Vivid light show from the water.
Until the schedule has been released, we won't know for sure what Vivid has in store for 2024. But what we do know is it will be spectacular as always and the opening night fireworks on Fri, 24 May should not be missed. You and the family will love it.

Vivid is a world-renowned creative festival featuring engaging light displays by well-known artists and collaborators projected onto Sydney’s world-famous buildings, bridges, parks and thoroughfares. It’s truly magical and by experiencing the light projections by boat, you’ll see sequences and art not easily seen on foot.

Yes, there are plenty of ticketed Vivid Sydney cruises ranging from $50pp to $200pp. We don’t operate in this space but would be happy to connect you to some of the events we know of. Just ask!
The schedule is still to be announced but we always love the opening night as there are always fireworks as the lights switch on for the first time. It’s a breathtaking moment to witness from on the harbour itself.
Many boats have a barefoot or flat shoe policy. If this is a sticking point for you, get in touch and we can suggest some shoe friendly boats, like Enigma and Felix.
