Felix, a 58-foot Salthouse sports cruiser, carries up to 25 guests in closed waters, from $850–$950 per hour with a four-hour minimum booking. Enigma takes up to 41 guests, from $990–$1,300 per hour, with a minimum of three to four hours.
Enigma also runs full BYO charters, so your own champagne is welcome on board. If your list runs past 41, larger partner vessels open up.

Most celebrations we host take one of three shapes. Each uses the harbour differently, so it helps to know which one you are planning before you settle on a vessel or a time of day.
Sunset toasts on the flybridge
Enigma and Felix both carry a warm flybridge with extra seating and a sun bed, and that is where the sunset crowd gathers. Glasses come up from the bar below, the engines idle, and the city switches itself on in stages behind the bridge.
Music follows you around the vessel, because the sound system is multi-zoned and Bluetooth compatible. So the flybridge can stay soft while the cockpit runs louder for dancing.
Then the temperature drops, as it always does out here. Guests filter into the air-conditioned saloon with jackets over their shoulders, and the last hour turns into the warmest part of the night.
A long afternoon at anchor
Once the anchor holds, the day loosens. The swim platform sits low to the water with a ladder, an aqua lily pad and two paddleboards, so guests can explore the bay properly instead of admiring it from a rail.
Enigma adds a floating pool, which is where the children and the cocktails tend to meet.

How an afternoon on the water unfolds
A four-hour charter finds its own rhythm. Here is the shape it usually takes.
- First 20 minutes: guests board at the wharf, glasses go around, bags disappear below.
- Next hour: you sail slowly past the Opera House and the bridge, close enough to see people waving from the foreshore.
- Middle stretch: the anchor drops in a sheltered bay for swimming, paddleboards, food and the loudest part of the day.
- Last hour: back under way as the light goes gold, music down a notch, then the toast.
- Final 15 minutes: the run home, skyline lit behind you, guests stepping ashore still talking.
Nothing is fixed, of course. Timings move with your guest list, the weather and whatever your group wants from the afternoon, and making the most of the light usually decides the rest.

Monday to Thursday evenings are quieter along the foreshore. In 2026 the Harbour Cruise Fireworks ran on Thursdays and Fridays at about 8pm, so we confirm each year’s schedule with you before locking in a date.
The same hourly rates and minimum hours apply, so your vessel and the length of the evening set the price. Keep in mind that the inland installations at The Rocks and Martin Place cannot be seen from the water.
